The Anglo-Indian duo Jonathan Levien and Nipa Doshi created a furniture collection, Objects of Devotion, for Galerie Kreo as homage to Le Corbusier’s city in India, Chandigarh.

The Objects of Devotion collection comprises of a tapestry covered daybed and a metal floor lamp, each one taking inspiration from the architectural elements that define Le Corbusier’s style.

Le Courbousier made the masterplan of Chandigarh and designed six public buildings of the city; the sketches and architectural details of the edifices are found on the colorful tapestry of the daybed.

Earlier this year, the Levien Doshi design studio launched another furniture collection for Moroso and B&B Italia with bold shapes and colors and yet a minimal design and a curtain series for Kvadrat.
