Aston Martin partnered up with Red Bull Racing to build what is said to be the fastest production car that will be expected to compete against new models released by Ferrari or Bugatti.
The hypercar is codenamed AM-RB 001 and will soon enter in production in the same British facility, Graydon, where the other Aston Martin hypercar was created, the One-77. Between 99 and 150 cars are to be produced, with 25 vehicles created only for the track.
“I knew Red Bull Racing had the ability to handle the pure performance aspects, but Aston Martin’s experience of making beautiful, fast and comfortable GT cars is of great benefit to the project,” stated Adrian Newey, Red Bull Racing’s chief technical officer.
