Arquitetos Associados. Olga Nur Restaurant

With an appealing colorful exterior and an industrial design for the inside, the new Brazilian restaurant Olga Nur situated in the Lourdes district of Belo Horizonte is one of the most talked about architectural projects.

However, the attraction point of the new Olga Nur is the ceiling made from no less than 80,000 dowels cut to different lengths so it creates a wave-like hypnotic effect.

To counterbalance the complex structured ceiling, the Arquitetos Associados architects created simple metal shelves for wine and Parisian inspired chairs and tables for the middle area of the restaurant.
