The Dutch duo amazed the audience present at Palais de Tokyo, Paris, for the Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2015 Fashion Week with their new collection entitled The Wearable Art.
Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren succeeded again in interlacing art, fashion and performance creating a mesmerizing collection of actual wearable fabric paintings.
Their last catwalk show presented in early spring had the same concept of blending art and fashion, transforming the colorful paintings of Vincent van Gogh into wearable dresses and headpieces.
“Art comes to life in a gallery of surreal proportions. A dress transforms into an artwork, back into a dress and into an artwork again. Poetry becomes reality, morphing back into fantasy,” stated Viktor&Rolf on their website.
